And Off We Go….

Wow, what a stunning day to start the whole process of building a business. I feel intense gratitude for all of the providers, Tony, Logan and Azoo for their magnificent course and for us, the participants, for creating such a supportive environment. I am hoping these are the first steps to many successful, sustainable businesses which we can support for years to come.

I walked into the Sea Scouts Hall having taken a year to rebuild my strength and health and hadn’t realised I’d also given myself a year to let the doubts creep in. I walked in injured, an unfocused, uncertain artist, unsure if I was answering my core values or on the wrong path. I graduate an artist with a business model, a 3 month plan to build it, a tangible goal, driven by a real understanding of my motivations and with a whole new whanau looking to better our lives and create stronger communities.

I may not have a finished site yet, but I understand it’s architecture and know how to design it. I shall balance the things that have to be done with the things I want to do with planning and routines. I see the path through the chaos and know there are others beside me looking to take the same journey. My first steps will be watermarking and web readying all my images for my website and storefront and my question is, what are yours?
